Over half a century ago, in 1956, Babas came into the world of photography capturing the smiles and emotions of the citizens of Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala, God's own country!

Baba Studio was lucky to have been born at a time when new technologies were just beginning to change the shape of the world of photography. We are glad to have been riding this wave of technological innovations ever since and bringing its benefits consistently to our valued customers.

On March 26, 2006, Babas moved into the new 5-storey Golden Jubilee Building at Pazhavangadi, Trivandrum. The building houses two studio floors, a fully equipped digital colour processing lab, a state-of-the-art image editing facility and a full fledged retail store where you can buy almost everything in photography. In memory of our guiding spirit Smt. Saraswathy Amma, we have christened this building Saraswathy Bhavan.
